Low Nest Farm is a small, family run farm offering B&B accomodation in the heart of the beautiful Lake District national park, yet conveniently located just two miles south of Keswick on the A591 (Windermere Road). All bedrooms are en-suite and refurbished to a superior standard.

We pride ourselves in providing the highest standards of hospitality and comfort and adopt the ethos that if you are relaxed, comfortable and happy your dogs will be too. As dog owners ourselves we fully appreciate your requirements when taking holidays with your animals and strive not only to meet but exceed your expectations. We provide many additional facilities including dog wash, kennelling, canine creche and a designated stock free field (4 Acres+) for off lead exercise for both you and your dogs.

Our B&B Guest House is situated in a quiet location within 2 miles of the Lake District Market Town centre of Keswick. The town of Keswick offers a wide variety of attractions including:- museums, galleries, shops, restaurants, pubs and a selection of beautiful parks.Keswick is famous for its shopping and has, probably, the best range of outdoor equipment and climbing shops in the country. In addition we have a range of quality galleries, gift shops and book shops. Derwentwater, the most picturesque of the lakes in the Lake District National Park, is only a ten-minute stroll from the Guest House, where you can catch the regular Keswick launch service to any of the six jetties around the lake. From there you can walk on Cat Bells, Maiden Moor and the many other beautiful fells around the Newlands Valley, or visit Ashness Bridge, Lodore Falls and the village of Grange. Whether you want to explore the filming locations of Miss Potter and those made famous in the books of Beatrix Potter, or head for the high Fells, or simply explore the Lake District landscape, it's all within reach. Keswick has a great deal of history and visitors will find many sites around the Town to be of interest. A must visit for all, is the Keswick Museum and Art Gallery which houses many interesting pieces from Keswick's past. The Pencil Museum is a fascinating visit for all ages and tells the tale of Keswick's long association with the pencil making industry.
